Hypocrisy in the church is real, but it’s a terrible measuring stick for the character of God. We open Romans 3:1–20 and follow Paul’s relentless logic: even when people sin, God remains faithful, and our failures don’t put God on trial. Along the way, we tackle the objections people raise when they want to dodge accountability like “If my wrongdoing makes God look more righteous, how can he judge me?” Paul’s answer is plain and bracing: God is righteous, and he will judge the world.
