Like any child, Capri was completely devastated when she learned that her beloved mother was diagnosed with cancer. In the most beautiful way, she penned a song of hope and inspiration to help her, her mom and her family get through an incredibly difficult and scary situation. Her bravery and strength in this dark hour is so inspiring. May God wrap His arms around them during this time.

Singaporean Shaun Teo journeys to West Kalimantan, Indonesia to help build a school and several homes in the Living Waters Village that provides food, shelter, education and a loving familial community to about 450 children and teens.
Besides physical labour, Shaun and other volunteers play and spend time with the children and teens -- many of whom are orphaned or abandoned, or whose families are unable to care for them -- building friendships that help the 19-year-old learn "what's important in life".

Newly pregnant first time mom-to-be Stacie Crimm was tragically diagnosed with terminal cancer. She didn't think twice about her choice to refuse treatment to save her baby's life...which cost her, her own. Such a beautiful and selfless sacrifice.
Matheus Fernandes has a tough go at life, constantly being bullied and ridiculed for his small stature. Not letting the negativity get him down, he bravely auditioned in front of the judges on American Idol...and nailed it! See how he brought Mariah to tears!
The Daily Pulse (Friday, February 1, 2013): ...For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life... 2 Corinthians 5:1-5 (NIV)
From Meredith's album "Worth It All". One of those rare albums where I like every single cut. Most albums I go "yeah, nah, yeah, yeah, nah, nah". This one is all winners. This is a beautiful song that she co-wrote. Yes, the Gospel is the heart of Christianity. Read 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, which is not part of the Gospel, but it pretty much summarizes the Gospel.
One of my fellow YouTube buddies asked me to make a video for this song. It's originally a song by the McFalls, written by James McFall, but this version is sung by the Dunaway family. So lovely. And what precious words. One of my favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding". What great advice that is!
From the wonderful album "Beautiful Day" from 2003. Check it out.
Never heard of the Dunaways before, until the other day. They've been recording for 17 years and somehow I missed them. Wonderful gospel stuff. Here's a video I just made for the song they recorded called "When There'sDun No Hope, There Is Grace".
I happened upon this by accident at the rest area in South Mills, North Carolina. I was walking down a snowy path along the Dismal Swamp to take photographs of a recent snowfall. I don't know how long it's been there or who put it up, but I hope it's just the beginning of years of joyful sharing for all who pass through.
The Daily Pulse (Thursday, January 31, 2013): This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15 (NIV)
The L'Heureux's thought of a wonderfully clever and entertaining way to celebrate the arrival of their new little baby. This is no ordinary baby announcement--you will want to see this! May God bless these new loving parents! :)
