One's failure or success often rides on the simple idea of self-confidence. Krystal Long was unloading groceries when she encountered a 200-pound black bear. Living where she does, bears are not uncommon but even when Krystal made noise, the bear would not leave. That's when Krystal's son came running along with their tiny dachshund, Daisy. Daisy immediately leapt in between her owner and the bear. She was willing to sacrifice her own life for her family. Thankfully, Daisy has recovered from her injuries and this hero dog is receiving lots of love and attention.

As a father of 4 boys, he has experienced first-hand the struggle to simply take his children to a fast-food restaurant. He decided to offer 'Mom Valet' at his Chick-Fil-A restaurant where parents can order through the drive-thru and their food and table would be ready and waiting inside. This special service has now spread to over 100 restaurants and it just makes me love this chain even more!

As part of their 'Clear The Shelter' campaign, the Hawaiian Humane Society decided to waive adoption fees on animals in the shelter. So when Beauty was the very last dog in the facility to be adopted, they knew she had to get a one-of-a-kind send off. I just love everything about this video!

When this young man's 24-year-old big brother tragically died he knew he wanted to do something special to honor his brother. After his father and sister spoke some beautiful words of remembrance, this young man stood up for a tear-filled performance. To honor his brother, this brave boy started to sing a special rendition of 'You Raise Me Up.' This beautiful performance is touching all on it's own, but when he dedicated the second verse to his late brother it is truly beyond beautiful. There are no words to express how difficult it is to lose a loved one but I hope this family finds comfort in the powerful words of this song. I think this is a performance that the entire family will remember for a lifetime. What a beautiful way to remember a life taken so young. Our prayers are with this grieving family.
