Dolly Parton Medley Of Songs Set In 2020

You’ll be laughing out loud as The Holderness Family performs a Dolly Parton medley imagining her songs in 2020. We first met The Holderness family back in 2014 when they became an Internet sensation in 2014 after sending out a video Christmas card. Titled ‘Christmas Jammies,’ this hilarious holiday greeting went viral. Penn Holderness, the patriarch of the family, was a news anchor when the video became a social media phenomenon. That’s when he made the decision to step away from his traditional job to pursue his passion. Since then, Penn Holderness, his wife, Kim and two children have continued to make hilarious videos that always have a way of cracking us up. When COVID-19 forced much of the world indoors, The Holderness Family decided to try and add a little bit of happiness into the world with their parody videos. And today’s hilarious video re-imagines Dolly Parton classics as if they were released in 2020. For decades, Dolly Parton has been a staple in the music industry. She made a name for herself as a positive personality that never holds back. She’s given us iconic hits such as ‘Jolene’ and ‘I Will Always Love You.’ Now, her songs are taking on a whole new meaning when Penn and Kim change the lyrics for this funny quarantine parody. From ‘9 to 5’ to ‘Island In The Streams,’ you will hear all of the favorites as they get a 2020 update. Who else was laughing along the entire time?

Father-Daughter Duet To 'What The World Needs Now'

Talented father-daughter duo Mat and Savanna Shaw share an important message with ‘What The World Needs Now.’ This 1965 song was composed by legendary musician Burt Bacharach and made popular by Jackie DeShannon. After its release, the song quickly shot to the top of the music charts. Now, it’s a classic tune that has taken on an entirely new meaning in recent times. “Lord, we don't need another mountain, There are mountains and hillsides enough to climb There are oceans and rivers enough to cross, Enough to last till the end of time.” Mat and Savanna Shaw are a talented father-daughter team that enjoy making music together. After they posted a video online of their duet to ‘The Prayer,’ it quickly went viral. After garnering millions of views online, Mat and Savanna decided to continue to create and bring smiles to our faces during these troubling times through more uplifting covers. Today, they are performing a beautiful duet to ‘What The World Needs Now’ and it’s exactly what we all need to hear during these times. “What the world needs now is love, sweet love It's the only thing that there's just too little of What the world needs now is love, sweet love, No not just for some but for everyone.” What a blessing to watch this duo come together and share their musical talents with the world. These are definitely moments that this father and daughter will never forget! Matthew 28:20 “Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Virtual Choir Sings 'Will The Circle Be Unbroken' With Peter Hollens

Our favorite a cappella singer Peter Hollens gathers a choir of talented voices for this stunning rendition of ‘Will The Circle Be Unbroken.’ This 1907 hymn was written by Ada R. Habershon with music by Charles H. Gabriel. For decades, this iconic song has touched hearts all around the world. The words remind us that God is always there as a source of comfort and strength. “I said to the undertaker Undertaker please drive slow For this lady you are carrying Lord I hate to see her go” Peter became a viral sensation after sharing his a cappella cover songs on social media. Over the years, he’s garnered millions of view online and continues to use his talents in creative and entertaining ways. Today, he’s joined by Malukah and The HollensFamily Choir for this beautiful performance of ‘Will The Circle Be Unbroken.’ Just listen as they all come together to belt out these beloved lyrics. “Will the circle be unbroken By and by, lord, by and by There's a better home a-waiting In the sky, lord, in the sky” Throughout our lives, we will all experience some sort of pain or heartache. But with the strength of God by our side, there is no obstacle too big to face. Put your trust in Him and He will walk with you each step of the way. Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

'Always On My Mind' Michael Buble Sings Willie Nelson Classic

Michael Buble is the first name that comes to mind when you think of jazz music of this generation. The 41-year old singer-songwriter has released over 55 million albums worldwide since 2001 with his first album. His music is influenced by classic singers like Frank Sinatra, and he’s covered various jazz and swing classics that have touched the hearts of everyone over the years. But what Michael did for his Call Me Irresponsible album, was quite unexpected. He decided to crone a classic country hit from legend Willie Nelson. He sat solo on the center stage and threw a country cover into the mix during an AOL Music Sessions performance. "Maybe I didn't love you Quite as often as I could have And maybe I didn't treat you Quite as good as I should have If I made you feel second best Girl I'm sorry I was blind You were always on my mind You were always on my mind" His velvet voice spellbindingly turned the country song into a classy jazz. His voice thoroughly hints of heartbreak like a lone coyote croning of what was. You might as well go outside and howl at the moon with him. With Michael’s band backing him with soft accompaniment to his velvety voice, Michael glided through the words in the same subdued way he sings the rest of his songs. Decades ago, songwriters Johnny Christopher, Mark James, and Wayne Carson penned the song. Wayne Carson shared that they knew they had something special right away. “In this case, ‘Always On My Mind’ happens to be one of those things that, universally, everybody on the planet has been there, you know. And it struck all at one time. Everybody touched base with that one. It was just magic that it was so simple and so right on the button.” Singer Gwen McCrae and Brenda Lee both recorded the song in 1972. That same year, Elivis Presley also released his own version, but it was Willie Nelson who made the song legendary. It seems Michael will be joining great company with this fantastic version of the classic song.

Broken Roots Country Duo Sing 'God's Country' On America's Got Talent

The country duo Broken Roots recently performed their rendition of Black Shelton’s ‘God’s Country’ on America’s Got Talent. “Right outside of this one church town, there's a gold dirt road to a whole lot of nothin' Got a deed to the land, but it ain't my ground, this is God's country We pray for rain, and thank Him when it's fallen 'cause it brings a grain and a little bit of money We put it back in the plate, I guess that's why they call it God's country” The duo Broken Roots was originally sent home during Judge Cuts of America’s Got Talent, but they received their second chance to come back and try to win over the audience. And it seems like they gave it their all to try and make the most of their second chance! For this performance, they put on an epic show with fire flames shooting up all around them while they were singing this country song. “I get goosebumps every time I hear these guys. They are amazing,” comments one person on YouTube after watching this video. “Y'all need to keep an eye on these here fellas, I have a feeling like they are going to have their own album in the future,” writes another person on YouTube. After this exciting performance, we’ll have to see what the future holds for Broken Roots and if they will be able to continue on in this season of America’s Got Talent. Galatians 3:7-9 7 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. 8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” 9 So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

Top 10 Shirley Temple Dance Numbers Of All Time

One devoted fan gathered together their top 10 Shirley Temple dance numbers of all time, and this video of the talented curly haired superstar is priceless! Which Shirley Temple movies and dance numbers are your favorite? Shirley Temple is a legend in Hollywood. A lot of people know the talented and fun little child star, Shirley Temple, even if they didn’t grow up watching her. If they don’t recognize the signature look, they know the name. I remember growing up and seeing advertisements for getting the “full collection” of all of Shirley Temple’s films. This child left a lasting impact on history. Her filmography was a mix of comedy, drama, music, and dance. All of which was fun for the whole family. Her show, Shirley Temple’s Storybook aired for two seasons over the course of four years from 1958 to 1961. Shirley Jane Temple was born in April of 1928. She reached stardom in her young age during The Great Depression. By the time she passed in February 2014, she found success as an actress, dancer, singer, businesswoman, and even a diplomat. By then she was known as Shirley Temple Black, and had three kids, two of whom were with her second husband. Her level of success over the course of her life definitely makes Shirley one of Hollywood’s greatest icons of the 20th century. The official Shirley Temple website has a full list of all of the star’s films. She was featured in 43 major films, 14 short films, and 25 storybook movies. That’s a lot of film! Her movie career lasted an impressive three decades (1931 - 1961.) Shirley Temple found her start to stardom at the young age of three. During that time she danced in Los Angeles at Mrs. Meglin’s Dance Studio. Two producers working on a short film discovered her there. After the connection was made, Shirley starred in Baby Burlesks. Most interesting about Shirley, and what some don’t know, was her work as a diplomat. She served as a U.S. representative for the United Nations, as the ambassador to the Republic of Ghana, then the ambassador for Czechoslovakia. Shirley’s story shows the various ways God can use us to impact others over an entire lifetime. Our service to the community will likely change with time, but we can always do something with and for others. We may never be as renowned as Shirley Temple, but all along the way we will come across many people. Just think, how many people have you interacted with over the course of your entire life? Too many to count, right? Now, imagine working to leave a loving impact on others no matter your field of work. That’s like leaving a little bit of Jesus everywhere you go.

Cauliflower Ear for Your SPIRIT

What If you applied Martial Arts rankings to your level of competence in relation to your Vocation/Profession? What belt would you be? Blue, brown? Maybe your at the top of your profession? Maybe you’re a Black Belt!

Why not be a Black Belt for God? The most rare of all Black Belts. If you know one, comment their name in the comment box or tell us what your standard of a Black Belt for Almighty God might be.

Being a BJJ Black Belt myself I will go by the BJJ ranking system, which I believe is arguably the strictest of all Martial Art rankings. The Black Belt typically takes over ten years to earn. Making it truly one of the hardest to obtain.

A BLACK BELT FOR GOD THOUGH? I feel this would take a lifetime to achieve.

A very very good or even great pastor, is only a Purple Belt in my humble opinion
