Stunning Violin And Saxophone Duet To 'Hallelujah'

Our favorite violin prodigy is back, performing in a stunning violin and saxophone duet to ‘Hallelujah’ that will move you to tears and smile all at once. In case you didn’t know, Karloina Protsenko picked up a violin when she was six years old and by the time she was ten, she aced every musical note and became a worldwide sensation. This darling girl is now 11 years old and charms every listener who happens to stop and take a listen. Busking on the streets of Santa Monica, California she does renditions of pop songs ranging from Imagine Dragons’ ‘Believer’ to ‘Hallelujah’ by Lenoard Cohen. With more than 4.4 million subscribers, she is blessed with a rare gift to bring joy through her music. Born in the Ukraine, her parents brought her to the United States in 2015 so she could be classically trained in the violin. She then began busking in 2017, playing her music on the streets of California where she not only captivated audiences with her music but even garnered attention of The Ellen Show. But that’s not why we’re talking about this musically gifted tween today. Instead of playing alone, she partnered up with another musically talented individual by the name of Daniele Vitale. This italian saxophone musician has been wowing the crowds for years with his talent, garnering over 3.1 million fans. He mostly does international and wedding events. Can you imagine having his musical notes serenade you down the aisle? This pair played “Hallelujah” in separate locations and then combined their videos into one performance. What they did is nothing short of incredible. The performance went viral with more than 3.5 million views and counting. But don’t take our word for it, Check it out for yourself and be the judge. Although, we may or may not suggest a tissue! It will have you raising a hallelujah to our mighty God. “Praise the Lord! Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord! Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forevermore! From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! The Lord is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! Who is like the Lord our God, who is seated on high.” Psalm 113:1-5

'Bare Necessities' 7-Year-Old Claire Crosby Performs Disney Classic On Ukulele

7-year-old Claire Crosby brings the Disney magic with her ukulele rendition of ‘The Bare Necessities.’ You may recognize little Claire from one of her many viral videos. Claire and her dad became Internet sensations after their precious duet 'You've Got A Friend In Me' went viral in 2017. Since that time, Claire has been keeping busy with a successful YouTube channel where she sings and showcases fun times with her family. Claire has also made appearances on The Voice, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and many more. She even recorded a special melody of every single Disney princess song at Disney World. Today, she’s taking on another Disney classic with ‘The Bare Necessities’ from The Jungle Book. “Look for the bare necessities The simple bare necessities Forget about your worries and your strife” The Jungle Book is a 1967 animated hit for The Walt Disney Company. The movie spurned multiple sequels and even a live-action remake in 2016. This beloved film has become a true classic, due in huge part to the catchy songs and music. One of the most famous songs in the animated movie is ‘The Bare Necessities.’ Sung my the characters of Baloo and Mowgli, ‘The Bare Necessities’ was even nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Today, Claire Crosby is putting her own spin on this iconic song and it’s one performance you don’t want to miss. “When you look under the rocks and plants And take a glance at the fancy ants Then maybe try a few The bare necessities of life will come to you They'll come to you!” Disney songs always take us back to a simpler place and time and that’s exactly happening with this ukulele cover. Who else is singing along right now?

Former BGT Winner Colin Thackery Inspires With 'What The World Needs Now'

Former Britain’s Got Talent winner, Colin Thackery, returns to the stage with a moving rendition of ‘What The World Needs Now.’ This 1965 song was composed by legendary musician Burt Bacharach and made popular by Jackie DeShannon. After its release, the song quickly shot to the top of the music charts. Now, it’s a classic tune that has taken on an entirely new meaning in recent times. “Lord, we don't need another mountain, There are mountains and hillsides enough to climb There are oceans and rivers enough to cross, Enough to last till the end of time.” We first met Colin when he auditioned for the thirteenth season of Britain’s Got Talent. At 89-years-old, he was much older than most of the contestant but his heart is as young as ever. Colin shared the heartfelt story of the love and loss of his wife, Joan. It was just two weeks after his wedding to Joan that he was sent to Korea. Colin served in the 45th Regiment of the Royal Artillery and nearly died while he was fighting in Korea. Sadly, in 2016, Colin was forced to say goodbye to his love when she died in his arms. His initial audition was full of emotion as he belted out the words to Bette Midler’s ‘Wind Beneath My Wings.’ Colin brought raw emotion and heart to each of his performances until the very end. And the cheers were nearly deafening when he was announced as the winner of the entire competition. Now, Colin is back on the show that started it all with a socially distant performance of ‘What The World Needs Now.’ And to make the show even better, he’s backed by current competitors, Kingdom Choir. “What the world needs now is love, sweet love It's the only thing that there's just too little of What the world needs now is love, sweet love, No not just for some but for everyone.” We could all use a little bit more love in our lives and this song is the perfect reminder to be the change that you want to see.

Junior Orchestra Gives Classical Music A Modern Makeover On BGT

Check out this incredible performance of a junior orchestra giving classical music a modern makeover on Britain’s Got Talent. The Chineke! Junior Orchestra is a dynamic British youth orchestra made up of players aged 11 to 22 years old. It was founded in 2015 along with its sister ensemble, the Chineke! Orchestra. For their Britain’s Got Talent audition, the Chineke! Junior Orchestra impressed the audience and judges with their incredible mix of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, Bruno Mars' 'Uptown Funk,' Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be,' John Legend’s ‘All of Me,’ and more popular hits! These young musicians – playing all sorts of instruments from violins, drums, piano, trombones, flutes, harps, and more – are all so talented! In fact, all of the students in the Chineke! Junior Orchestra have secured scholarships to the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, or the Guildhall School of Music. In 2019, the Chineke! Junior Orchestra was nominated for Best Classical Music Education Initiative Award, which honors an education project that has shown musical excellence and has had a positive impact on a significant number of participants. These young, talented musicians are going places, and it will be great to see them perform more on BGT and blow us away with their wonderful performances! 2 Chronicles 5:12-14 12 All the Levites who were musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. 13 The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: “He is good; his love endures forever.” Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, 14 and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.

'Folsom Prison Blues' Johnny Cash And Roy Clark Performance

Check out this great video of Johnny Cash and Roy Clark performing ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ on the TV show Hee Haw. “I hear the train a comin', it's rollin' 'round the bend, and I ain't seen the sunshine Since, I don't know when, I'm stuck in Folsom Prison and time keeps draggin' on But that train keeps a-rollin' on down to San Antone, when I was just a baby My Mama told me, ‘Son always be a good boy, don't ever play with guns,’ But I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die When I hear that whistle blowin', I hang my head and cry” What a great performance from these two! “This had me grinning from ear to ear. Pure joy,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “They don't make ‘em like Johnny and Roy anymore.” “Dang, I never thought I would ever see Johnny Cash upstaged by anyone on this song,” writes another person on YouTube. “Johnny is obviously getting a tremendous kick out of Roy's musical antics.” It is impressive to watch what Roy Clark can do with that slide guitar. “Roy Clark has to be the very best guitar player of all times,” says one person on YouTube. “Don't believe there was anything he could not do with a guitar as well as any instrument he picked up.” This popular song, ‘Folsom Prison Blues,’ was written in 1953 and recorded in 1955 by Johnny Cash. The song combines elements from two popular folk styles, the train song and the prison song. Johnny Cash continued to use both of these styles for the rest of his career. And this particular song was one of his signature songs. In 2014, Rolling Stone ranked ‘Folsom Prison Blues,’ number 51 on its list of the 100 greatest country songs of all time.
