This is the classic old hymn written by Fanny J. Crosby. I normally don't like it when the old classics are modernized, but this one is an exception. This is such a refreshing update of an old hymn that was already pretty refreshing to begin with. This arrangement just has a more majestic feeling to it. Lou Fellingham of Phatfish sings the lead, and the arrangement is by her husband Nathan. Awesome job Nathan and Lou!

"We rightly say 'lest we forget' for the sacrifice that men and women have made for our lives. How much more should we remember the sacrifice that Jesus paid for our eternal soul?"
Daily Pulse - 1 Corinthians 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
God blesses us abundantly with our needs, wants, and desires. However, when it is time to give back, do we give grudgingly or do we try to out give Him? We should not give grudgingly because everything we have and want, God gives to us, and we cannot out-give God because he gave us the most precious gift a person can have, His only Son, Jesus Christ.
The Bible says, “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings” (Malachi 3:8).
Ways to give back are through tithes and offering, time and talents, and resources and knowledge.
Reasons to give back . . . • Giving reflects priorities in our lives • Giving is a privilege • Giving is blessing
Are you robbing God?

(www.hannahford.com) I picked this song out to have played at my wedding, but we ran out of time. Now I got to actually sing it at the 25th anniversary celebration of my wedding coordinator(s)! So special. I love this song, but I love Bob and Karen Ogren so much more. Olen Ellis, talented musician, is accompanying me on guitar. Here's to more wonderful marriages and many more happy years for us all! (Performed April 2012 at La Jolla Christian Fellowship)
