NFL Players Powerfully Share Why They Follow and Trust in Jesus Christ

Several NFL players powerfully shared why they follow and trust in Jesus Christ. The professional athletes openly share their faith and state their reasons for relying upon the Son of God. Watch the short video to hear the players' moving and powerful reasons for having faith in Christ.

Professional athletes are often seen as more than human. From the stands and their couches, people sit and marvel at what those athletes can do on the field or court. In most cases, it is pretty amazing. They can effortlessly do what many people can only dream of doing.

However, athletes are still human beings. Like the rest of humanity, they are sinners who have fallen short of God's glory. They need the forgiveness of their sins and God’s grace, too.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a handful of professional football players explain why they place their faith in Jesus Christ, not themselves or their ability on the playing field. They know who the real King is and share why they follow Christ and why others should, too.

“Because it’s a gift,” one player said. “It’s a gift, and if you’re hearing the Gospel, you just have to accept it. It’s a free, and it’s an open gift. It’s a relationship; you don’t have to do anything to take that gift, and then when you do take it, it just starts to transform your life from the inside out.”

Quarterback Carson Wentz mentioned how Christ and Christianity differ greatly from every other religion.

“At the end of the day, He’s the only way,” Carson said. “He’s the only way. He’s the truth and the life. There’s a lot of other religions that’ll tell you ‘Do, do, do.’ And Jesus says, ‘It’s done.’ You know, Jesus says, ‘It’s done.’ He’s already done it for us by dying on that cross, which allows us to live freely, live with that peace that we’ve been talking about.”

Later in the video, Jameis Winston pointed to two commands in the Bible as keys for every follower of Christ.

“But Jesus said these two things will allow you the keys of heaven,” Jameis said. “Seek first the kingdom of God, and all His righteousness and love thy neighbor as thyself.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Four Years on Redding’s Most Wanted List

Henry Chapman’s childhood was marked by hardship, each trial pushing him further down a troubled road that ultimately led to prison. Upon his release, he devoted himself to ministry, becoming a beacon of hope and healing for others walking wounded paths. Yet, just as his life began to shine with purpose, everything fell apart. Wrongfully expelled from the very church he helped to build, Henry’s world shattered. Gripped by betrayal and consumed by anger, he turned his back on his calling—and returned to the life he had once escaped. From preaching hope to surviving in the shadows, his fall was fast and hard, landing him on the top of Redding’s most wanted list. But just when it seemed all was lost, a twist of fate—nothing short of miraculous—intervened, setting the stage for a redemption story no one saw coming. Lola Sheen Opens Up About Her Spiritual Journey and Finding Christ

Lola Sheen has opened up about her spiritual journey and finding Christ. The 19-year-old daughter of actors Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards mentioned how Christ was there for her during one of the darkest moments of her life. Watch the video to hear the young woman say what led her to give her heart and life to Jesus Christ.

As the Bible states, we are all sinners and have fallen way short of the glory of God. However, even though we are sinners and have willingly turned our back on Christ, His commands and teachings, being forgiven of those sins is possible.

Christ went to the cross, suffering and dying, and rose again. In doing so, He won the victory over sin and death, a victory we can all experience today. Christ freely offers forgiveness to all who earnestly seek Him out, call upon His name and confess their sins. He was and is the ultimate sacrifice, fulfilling a debt we can never repay.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Lola Sheen mentions how she came to know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. The daughter of Charlie Sheen talks about her baptism, which she posted on social media. Lola is open and honest about her struggles before accepting Christ and what she has experienced since becoming a Christian.

Lola admits that she struggled with her mental health and felt unworthy, unable to find her place in the world.

“My family, I grew up Catholic,” she said.  “But I always knew of Jesus. I never knew Him, and that is what changed so much for me when I met Jesus. It was like, ‘Now I actually know You.’ And I feel like there’s a difference of going to church ‘cause you have to and then going to church because you know Jesus.”

Later in the clip, she says that while some people will say they came to Christ, that is not what happened to Lola. He came to her.

“And so, yeah, Jesus really, really did find me,” she said. “And that’s what changed me. It’s like, He chose me first, and it was the first time someone chose me when I wasn’t like the best version of myself.”

What a wonderful, powerful and beautiful testimony from this young woman about accepting Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:9 “Because, if you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and have faith in your heart that God has made him come back from the dead, you will have salvation.”

Wynonna Judd’s Heartfelt Words of Encouragement and Love Bring Jenna Bush Hager to Tears

Wynonna Judd’s heartfelt words of encouragement and love brought Jenna Bush Hager to tears. What the legendary singer said caused her co-host to react emotionally on-air, creating an unexpectedly beautiful moment. Watch the short clip to hear what Wynonna said, which brought tears to Jenna’s eyes. Be sure you also have some tissues nearby.

Words are powerful and can cause people to react and respond in various ways. What people say to one another can and do build others up and encourage and uplift them when they need it most. One positive, encouraging message could greatly impact someone’s entire life, forever changing the trajectory of their life. It happens more often than we think.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Wynonna shared a message of encouragement and love with Jenna during a “Jenna & Friends” segment. Jenna and Wynonna were talking about the January tragedy in which a military helicopter struck a commercial plane in Washington, D.C., killing everyone involved.

Wynonna mentioned how short and precious life is and how it can be extinguished without a moment’s notice. Jenna responded that given the tragedies and darkness that permeate the world, she is happy that with her show and platform, she is able to bring some happiness and light to the world every day. That’s when Wynonna shared sweet words of encouragement for her co-host.

“I was going to tell you this, last night I didn’t sleep at all because I just have you on my heart,” Wynonna said to Jenna. “I watch you every day, and I went on my own in 1992, solo, and I think about you so much. And you’re a mom and a wife, and I don’t know how you’re doing this, but I just want to affirm you and say being authentic is lonely. And I can imagine that you feel that way sometimes, but I just love you, and I appreciate you, and I admire you so much.”

Ephesians 4:29 “Let no evil talk come out of your mouth, but only what is good for giving necessary teaching, and for grace. To those who give ear.”

Alexa PenaVega Shares How God Wept with and Comforted Her During Loss

Alexa PenaVega shares how God wept with and comforted her during a season of loss and immense pain. The actress who went through one of the most painful experiences imaginable mentioned how the Lord was with her through it all. Watch the short video to hear how God grieves and comforts His children when they are hurting.

Being a parent is one of life’s biggest blessings. There is nothing like welcoming a new bundle of joy into the world. Children add so much joy, happiness, and love to every household. Because children are such precious gifts from the Lord, losing one can and does result in immense pain, grief and sorrow.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Alexa recalls the painful, horrible experience of losing her baby girl, Indy, soon after the child was born. She mentions that two minutes before the child was delivered, there was a heartbeat. Sadly, soon after that precious baby girl was born, she passed away.

Following the loss of her child, Alexa states how the Lord was with her, provided her comfort and healing, and how she even witnessed Him grieving with and for her. She said that soon after losing Indy, Alexa, even though she was still hurting and suffering, felt an incredible and inexplicable peace.

During the healing process, Alexa was in a therapy session when she received a vision, a scene from the Lord.

“And I closed my eyes, and the Lord gave me this insane vision,” she said. “I was laying in the bed, and Indy was next to me, and they were trying to resuscitate her. The room was filled with angels around every single person in the room. But Indy was in God’s arms, but she was alive in His arms. Even though she was no longer living next to me, she was alive in His arms. But God was weeping. All the angels were weeping. They weren’t like, ‘It’s OK, we have her. She’s safe.’ They were weeping for us, and it gave me a whole new perspective of God, of where when we weep, He weeps because He’s heartbroken for his children. Even though He knew she was fully alive with Him and great and happy, He wept for us. And I felt so seen in that moment.”

Later in the clip, she added that God hurts when we hurt and go through difficult situations.

“In our heaviest moments, in our darkest moments where we truly just feel gutted, know He is weeping for you,” she said. “Sometimes you just want somebody to cry with, and He is, He’s doing that. And I don’t know how to explain it. I wish I had better words for it, but He wept with me, and it really helped. It helped me feel seen.”

Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he is the savior of those whose spirits are crushed down.”

Charlie Sheen’s Daughter Celebrates Her Baptism and Praises Jesus Christ

The daughter of actor Charlie Sheen celebrated her recent baptism and praised her Savior, Jesus Christ. The young woman, Lola Sheen, recognized the big step in her faith with a heartfelt and powerful post on social media. Watch the video of her beautiful baptism.

Baptism is a big, momentous occasion in one’s walk with the Lord. It’s an outward act of what has already taken place in your heart. It’s a move that shows and lets others know that Christ has come into your life and cleansed your heart from sin. It is an act that shows that you have turned away from sin and the old way of living and have chosen to follow Christ.

Lola Sheen, the daughter of actors Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards, has signaled her faith and trust in Jesus Christ. The young woman posted a video of her baptism on social media.

In the video, Lola waits patiently, kneeling in a baptismal pool. A few moments into the video, a man, likely the church’s pastor, stands near the pool and begins talking to the young woman, gesturing and smiling as he does so.

Finally, the big moment arrives; Lola covers her nose and is dipped into the water, much to the delight of the congregation who were on hand to view the beautiful ceremony. What a wonderful sight!

In a caption accompanying several pictures of herself being baptized, Lola shares how Christ loved her, accepted her and changed her life, cleansing her heart from sin when she was at her lowest.

“When I was in my deepest depression, there was a moment where I realized I hit rock bottom,” she writes. “I felt so lost and hopeless, and was just doing my best to make it to the next day. I just accepted my life was going to be like that forever, and thought I would never genuinely laugh again. Until, I met not only my Savior but my best friend, Jesus.”

Later in the post, she mentions how Christ loved her even when she felt she deserved none.

“I began to trust Jesus with my life, when He chose me when no one else did, and loved me when I didn’t feel worthy of love,” Lola writes. “He gave me a light, when I couldn’t find my own and rescued me from the darkness.”

She ends her beautiful, heartfelt post by writing, “I am forever saved by His grace, through Faith. I thank you Jesus for everything, I love you, and I hope you are proud of me.”

Mark 16:16 “He who has faith and is given baptism will get salvation; but he who has not faith will be judged.”

Helping Fix A Flat Tire Would Change His Life

Rych Dorcie struggled with short-term memory loss, making it difficult for him to retain information, such as remembering the content of a book he had just read. One day, while playing a game in a parking lot, he heard a voice urging him to help someone with a flat tire. Initially reluctant, he eventually listened to the voice and stopped to assist. Little did he know that this seemingly small act of kindness would have a profound and unexpected impact on his life, leading to significant positive changes.

Mel Gibson Talks Jesus, Forgiveness and Mercy in Joe Rogan Interview

In an interview with Joe Rogan, Mel Gibson discussed Jesus, forgiveness, and mercy. The award-winning actor and filmmaker also talked about his views on the afterlife and why he is a person of faith with the popular podcast host.

Human beings are flawed, imperfect and fallen creatures. The Bible, in Romans, makes our fallen, sinful nature completely clear when it says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” We’re all sinners and in need of forgiveness, grace and mercy.

However, it’s because of those flaws, stumbles and imperfections that Mel is a believer and a person of faith. In a clip posted on YouTube, he tells Joe that when confronting his problems and imperfections, he came to the point where he understood he was unable to change himself.

“And I mean, I don’t think it’s any secret that I am flawed in the fact that I am by nature born an alcoholic, right?” he said. “I did drugs, I did alcohol and there was nothing that could stop me from doing that. Nothing. So, I was really kind of on, you’re on a downhill run. So, I regard the fact that I was able to appeal to something greater than myself to help me and actually stop me from doing that. I think that’s a miracle.”

Later in the clip, Mel mentions what he regards as the best thing about being a Christian and a person of faith: human beings do not have to continue living in sin.

“And the beauty of believing is that, even for your transgressions, you can be forgiven, and you can be redeemed,” he said.

Before the clip ends, Mel adds that Jesus Christ came to Earth and showed everyone how to obtain forgiveness and eternal life.

“I believe that God sent His Son down to tell us, ‘OK, I’m going to ransom you people from your fallen nature, and I’ll give you a roadmap on how to do it,’” he said.

Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is not possible to be well-pleasing to him, for it is necessary for anyone who comes to God to have the belief that God is, and that he is a rewarder of all those who make a serious search for him.”

Woman Credits Faith In God, Obedient Tithing for Business's Miraculous Turnaround

A woman credits having faith in God and being an obedient, faithful tither with her business’s miraculous turnaround. At one point, her business was in deep financial trouble, but things quickly changed, and the business began to prosper. Watch the video to hear this young woman’s story of how her faith in the Lord helped her business’s financial troubles.

Running a business is difficult, especially when it’s a small, family-owned business. The United States of America is the land of opportunity, where everyone has the chance to do as they please. That means people are free to open their own business.

However, competition can be and is fierce, depending on the market and the specific field. All businesses have to fight to survive. Sadly, many small businesses struggle and do not make it very long. Closing up shop for good was what one woman nearly had to do with her family-owned business, but things quickly turned around.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Nayomie talked about her father, the business he started and the terrific example of faith and trust in the Lord he set for her.

“I learned that he did everything through faith,” she said. “And I have seen that man pray endlessly, and the doors open.”

She added that her father showed her how important it is to be a faithful and obedient tither.

“Sometimes we didn’t have enough to pay the rent, but he’d rather tithe than pay the rent,” she said. “And you would miraculously see a busy day that would cover the rent and extra.”

Eventually, Nayomie took over the family business as the new owner and soon ran into trouble. COVID put a significant financial strain on the business, resulting in thousands of dollars in debt. She was unsure of the future and seriously considered shutting the business down.

But Nayomie stayed faithful and trusted in God. She prayed earnestly for His help and guidance and continued tithing even during this precarious period when money was scarce.

Then, God started to work, and the results were more than anything she could have imagined. She received a $10,000 grant for the business, and the business went viral on social media.

“You know, one moment, we’re, like, closing down,” she said. “The next moment, we’re going viral, and we have a line that is out the door and curls through the block. And our revenue went up by 80 percent.”

The young woman knows who and what is responsible for the business thriving.

“The key to my success is definitely our faith in God and our obedience to tithing,” she said. “I don’t think anything would be possible if we weren’t tithers and givers.”

Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, crushed down, full and running over, they will give to you. For in the same measure as you give, it will be given to you again.”

Woman Addicted to Drugs, Contemplating Suicide Finds Hope and Life in Jesus Christ

A woman addicted to drugs, contemplating suicide and facing jail time finds hope and life in Jesus Christ. She shared her powerful testimony about Christ’s life-changing and life-giving love, forgiveness and grace. Watch this video to hear how Christ’s love and mercy saved and completely turned a woman’s life around.

The world is a lost, cruel and broken place that is inhabited by many hurt and struggling people. Those individuals are searching for something, anything, to make the heartache and pain cease. Sadly, for many people, the hurt and pain may get so bad that they see no other alternative than suicide, taking their own lives.

In a video posted on YouTube, Cristina Baker explains how she was in such a situation. She, who was trying to “numb and escape the pain” of her past, started using “every kind of drug I could,” she said. She continued using drugs, and then, one evening, she was pulled over by a police officer. Cristina had a large amount of drugs in her vehicle at the time of the traffic stop. She was arrested.

After posting bail and getting out of jail, this did not solve Cristina’s problem. She was still dealing with incredible pain and hurt from her past, so she made plans to take her own life. But God had other plans for Cristina.

"So, I’m sitting at my desk, and at the very moment I'm contemplating taking my life, this man taps me on the shoulder and says to me, ‘I have a word from the Lord for you,’” she said. “How could he have known what I was just contemplating in that moment?”

Cristina adds that this mysterious messenger starts reading from the book of Jeremiah, specifically Jeremiah 29:11. After reading that verse, which mentions God’s plans for our lives, to give us hope and a future, he asked her a critical question. Did she want to accept Christ as her personal Lord and Savior? She did and felt instantaneous relief and comfort.

“The boulders I had been carrying around for 20-plus years of my life, it was like somebody came and picked it up off of my shoulders,” she said. “The chains were broken instantly.”

Even though Cristina had turned her life over to Christ, going to jail was still a real possibility for her. However, God had another miracle in store.

After she spoke to the district attorney, Cristina’s lawyer received a yellow piece of paper. It was an order of dismissal. The charges had been dropped, and she was free to go.

“I was guilty,” she said. “Everything that happened that night I was guilty of, but yet He came in and wiped it clean and I walked as a free woman, and that’s what the cross has done for you and I. We, through the cross and the blood of Jesus and the power of His blood, have been forgiven of all our sins – past, present and future.”

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts I think toward you, said the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Pastor Shares How God Used His Weakness to Bless and Help Someone in Need

A pastor shared how God used his weakness to bless and help someone in need. His personal experience demonstrates the power of God and how His strength shines through our weaknesses. Watch the short but moving clip about how even weakness is a strength when God is involved.

As the saying goes, knowledge is power. Thanks to Google, we can look up any fact, figure or question in seconds and get the answer. The ability and potential to learn and acquire knowledge on basically any topic imaginable are all around us.

However, no matter how much time we spend on Google, we’ll never have all the answers. Human beings are limited in what they can do and do not and will never know everything. This is also true for pastors.

In a clip posted on YouTube, pastor Andrew Greer shares that he felt out of place in particular conversations early in his ministry. He mentions one particular conversation for which he spent so much time preparing, hoping to provide this man with the correct answers.

When the moment arrived, most of the pastor’s preparation went out of the window. He did not have answers or solutions to what the man was dealing with or going through at the time. Instead of offering advice and solutions, he spent most of the conversation just listening.

But then something happened.

“He told me afterward what he was most grateful for,” the pastor recalled. “He told me, ‘Dude, thanks so much for listening. You just let me talk.’ He goes, ‘Most people want to give me answers. They just want to, like, kind of fix it.’ He’s like, ‘It was really nice to just be able to talk.’”

It was a powerful example of what God is capable of, even in our weakness. He can use our weakness as a strength to bring glory to His name.

2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made complete in what is feeble.’ Most gladly, then, will I take pride in my feeble body, so that the power of Christ may be on me.”

Russell Brand Shares How God Is The Only One Who Can Transform Addicts

Russell Brands shares how God is the only one who can transform addicts’ lives. The actor, author and podcast host shared insight into how God’s transformative power is the only thing that will help those struggling with addiction. Watch the video to hear what Russell says about people with an addiction and God.

The world is broken and lost, full of people who are hurting and struggling. Sadly, some people have been gripped and entrapped by addiction, having their lives overtaken by those powerful habits and cravings. Whether drugs, alcohol or something else entirely, addictions can and will destroy lives.

However, in a clip posted on YouTube, Russell states there is hope for someone struggling with addiction. Having dealt with substance abuse problems himself, he explains how God is the only one who can change an addict’s life.

Speaking from experience, Russell knows the feelings and thoughts going through someone’s mind who is struggling with addiction.

“Every addict feels that they are dirty and that they are worthless and that they are broken,” he said. “Every addict I’ve spoken to feels like, ‘If you knew me, really, you would not like me. You would not; you wouldn’t be able to love me.’ Every alcoholic, addict I know does not trust people. ‘In a very deep level, I do not trust you. You will let me down. You will break me and betray me.’”

Later in the clip, he adds that there is only one solution and answer for someone in such a terrible, horrible state.

“And If when I’ve, even now thinking about that and feeling that the only thing that could relieve us of our dilemma is God,” Russell said. “God can and will if He is sought.”

The Bible mentions that all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. We’re all sinners. None of us deserves His love, mercy, grace and forgiveness, but He continually offers them freely to all who call upon His name.

2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said to me, ‘My grace is enough for you, for my power is made complete in what is feeble.’ Most gladly, then, will I take pride in my feeble body, so that the power of Christ may be on me.”
