Maurice Green broke two ribs trying to escape hurricane flood waters; lost his home and business; and, had a son die in a refugee center. The picture survived as a way to SHOW me that Christ is with us always. He walks beside us in our days of despair and hopelessness. BELIEVE
Dad died Feb 16th 2012. Miss him very much!! I put this prayer card in his casket, also.
I ran into the person who caused the fire yesterday (8-24-2020) I always wanted to sit down with him and talk about all the reasons he felt he needed my dad's safe. I didn't ask him but maybe one of these days I will get the chance to explain to him that he gave us more than he took. To forgive isn't always easy but I have forgiven him and whomever else helped him. May he find peace.
