As a professional freestyle skier at 19, Kirk thought he had life figured out. In his inspirational self-help book, “The Life I Always Wanted” (ISBN -978-0-615-45153-4), Kirk shares his life story in hopes of helping other young people find out their purpose in life.
Living the life of a professional freestyle skier, Kirk thought he had it all. He was traveling the states, partying and living every young’s persons dream. It was then, at his highest point in life that everything changed. After a series of life-altering events, everything he had came crashing down. Finally hitting rock bottom, Kirk found himself barely holding onto life and questioning why he even existed.

Hear about the impact of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary on their students. All people interviewed (with the exception of the bishop) are current or former students of the IHM Sisters.

In Jan 2010, 9 churches in Malaysia were burnt down within 4 days by radical Muslims due to a controversial court rule to allow using the word "Allah" in printed Christian materials as the general name for "God" in the Malay language. According to the Muslims in Malaysia, the use of the word "Allah" printed in Christian materials would confuse the Muslims and cause them to convert into Christianity. Apostasy in Islam is not allowed under the Islam rule and is considered an act of disgrace for the Muslims.

Prior to this incident, many Christians in Malaysia were afraid to worship outdoor as they feared criticism and persecution from their Islamic government and public. In May 2009, a pastor prophesized that the Christians in Malaysia will one day begin to hold outdoor crusades. Due to the loss of a proper place for some of the Christians to worship, the first outdoor crusade was held in June 2010 and was attended by 12,000 spectators. Over 800 accepted Christ.

The Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary profess the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience. These vows are a triple expression of a single yes to live a life totally given to Christ. These vows enable the Sister to be free of anything that would hinder her dedication to Jesus and the service of His Church.
