It's certainly impossible to hang on to envy and hatred when we experience the holiness of God. It's hard enough to stand upright when we experience even a measure of His holiness, let alone hang on to anything that's not of Him.

Knowing what is better is not the same as doing what is better. To do what is better requires motivation, and motivation comes from understanding the true consequences of following our own agenda. But we simply don't realize the lasting effects on our physical bodies—from either hating or envying those folks who appear to be getting away with anything and everything.
