Rizpah mourned six months over the death of her sons but her mourning was during a harvest season. As Christians we have to learn to bury what is dead, so that we can enjoy what has come alive around us, which is the harvest season we have entered into through God's grace. Recorded at Rehoboth Kingdom Ministries International, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Pastor Victor Hudson
It has been said that the center of the Christian life is worship. But too often we've not defined worship well. Worship is often equated with singing. However, worship is really more about sacrificial living than singing.
Is prayer sometimes frustrating to you? Do you pray for things and and then nothing seems to happen? Have you wondered why? Sometimes our disappointment with God and in prayer is because God is not committed to fulfilling our expectations the way we think He should. Maybe He's up to something else that we need to learn more about.
Someone once said that there was no such thing as an unanswered prayer; just prayers that God answered differently than what we'd requested of Him. God always answers prayers in the way that He knows is best, not in the way that we think is best. It's up to us to learn to trust His heart more fully even when we don't understand His answers.
