Today's lesson "God's Word Will Stand Forever" comes from "Matthew 24:25" in which Jesus said, Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Imagine that in the beginning of time that there was nothing, yet, The Word of God was there in the midst of nothingness. The passage says that one day, there will be nothing left, yet The Word of God, will still be there. Since the Word of God is that powerful that time cannot erase it or history cannot change it, shouldn't you and I be relying on The Word to sustain our lives?

The Word is powerful. In the beginning God spoke the Word and everything came into existence by the power of God's Word. This same power is alive and well today and the power of the Word will never fail or fade.

The Word of God is no just some words written on a piece of paper, no, the Word of God is a person, the person of Jesus Christ himself. In the gospel of St. John chapter 1, the writer said that "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we saw the glory of the only begotten Son of The Father".

Men need to rise up and preach the gospel to this dying world and be a lighthouse to this generation

Drew Toothman, a retired Marine injured in Afghanistan, and his wife Misty participated in our Operation Heal Our Patriots marriage enrichment training in 2013. They came back from Alaska with a stronger marriage and recently served together on the Samaritan's Purse rebuild project in West Virginia.

Samaritan's Purse is working to rebuild homes in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Terrible floods in 2016 devastated the community.

I wonder how many times God has to put things out of my reach because I'm not ready to hold them (yet.)

The temptation of a giant mud puddle is something these two little boys couldn't pass up. After a joyful time, they turned to find their dad watching them make a mess and were fearful of what he would say. But that's when this dad showed grace in the most adorable way! What an incredible reminder of the love and grace God extends towards us!
