This year, as we approached our Christmas eve service at New Creation, some folks asked if we could do communion as part of the service. We hadn’t done that before but I thought it sounded like a great idea after all when Jesus broke the bread the first communion on the last supper, Jesus said, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” Why do we celebrate Christmas if not to remember the birth of our great Lord and Savior, the greatest gift ever? As I prayed looking for the connection and the message, I was reminded of a time when Jesus said “I am the bread of life.” That’s what this painting is all about. HOLDIN' ON TO HOPE----I wrote this song when I was down and out. Sometimes we feel like we have no hope in life...but it makes a big difference in what or whom we have our hope in. I hope someone from Nashville will contact me, telling me they would like to sing my song and put it on the radio.

If an unborn child was given a choice to live or die, what would they choose? Millions of unborn children are never given this choice. It is made for them. The right to life is no longer a fundamental human right. The silent holocaust continues with arppoximately 42 million unborn children killed in the womb each year worldwide. That's 115,000 per day! May the horror of abortion end and may all life from the womb to the tomb be respected and protected.

The church has placed way to much attention on building bigger buildings, then we have placed on the people inside of those buildings. Unfortunately, there are to many leaders teaching us to believe that the buildings that we attend are churches when in reality the people inside those buildings are the true member's of Christ Church.
