The Gettys (from Ireland) are a somewhat rare breed. They are modern-day hymn writers. Their music is fresh and vibrant. Here is a video I made at the request of a friend for a hymn that they wrote, from their 2009 album "Awaken The Dawn". A reminder that God never promised us that our life on Earth would be a bed of roses; in fact in John 16:33 He promises just the opposite. But He also promises that no matter what happens, He is always with us when trials come.

The answer is in the song: "To hear the voice of God, and do His will, whatever it is." I am often reminded of this song when I am teaching Sunday School or Vacation Bible School or leading AWANA and a child sincerely says or asks something that just touches my heart and makes me realize "that's why God put me here, for such a time as this".
