We build our house for all eternity as we build in the will of God on earth. For once we leave we will be gone forever into an everlasting home that will never fade away

Thanks to Hope For Paws, a nerve-wrecking rescue was brought to completion in order to save a stray dog with a broken leg. A concerned woman, Esmeralda Alvarez, made a call to Hope For Paws when she spotted a dog in a parking lot that was hit by a car. When the rescuer from Hope For Paws got to the scene, he could tell that the dog’s leg was broken and that she was in a lot of pain. At first, when the man from Hope For Paws arrives and tries to retrieve the dog from under a car, the dog starts growling at him and showing all her teeth in an aggressive way. Her barks seem like she may attack, but the rescuer persists. He knows that he needs to get this dog somewhere safe where she can be taken care of. In order to prevent the dog from running out from under the car, the rescuer puts up a plastic gate so she can’t run away. Once the area is secure, he’s able to get down under the car and try to pull the dog out from underneath it. After securing a leash on the dog, the man was able to pull the dog into his lap to start petting her. It’s amazing to see how her demeanor instantly changed when she started to receive love. No more barking or snarling, just sweet puppy cuddles! The rescuer from Hope For Paws decides to name the warrior dog “Arya”. Once they get to the Hope For Paws office, Arya is given an x-ray. The results show that her femur is broken and that she has swallowed some rocks. Before going into surgery to get her femur repaired, Arya is given a nice bath. She is so calm and at peace, despite the pain that she must be in. She must just be happy to be in caring hands and off the street!

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson helps an 83-year-old widower complete his bucket list. In December 2016, this former boy band member lost his mother to leukemia. The two were incredibly close. As part of his grieving process, Louis penned a song in honor of his mother’s memory titled ‘Two Of Us.’ “Even when I'm on my own, I know I won't be alone Tattooed on my heart are the words of your favourite song I know you'll be looking down, swear I'm gonna make you proud I'll be living one life for the two of us” Around the same time that Louis lost his mother, Richard Green lost his wife to Alzheimer’s. The elderly man was left a widower and spent most of his time alone. When Louis heard that Richard had a bucket list of things he’d like to accomplish before he died, this pop star knew he wanted to help. Throughout the video, we see this unlikely duo take on some incredible feats. From roller coasters to driving a racecar, Louis and Richard were able to bond in an amazing way. The very last item on Richard’s list was to sing in front of an arena crowd. So, Louis brought this 83-year-old on stage at one of his concerts and handed Richard the microphone. He had no idea what to expect but everyone was blown away when this elderly man belted out a hauntingly beautiful opera tune. All of these events are set the Louis’ heartfelt song ‘Two Of Us.’ I think Richard and Louis just formed a friendship that neither one will ever forget.

It was a nerve-wrecking moment captured on camera when officers rescue 3 women and a dog trapped in flood waters. After a sudden flash flood, the car these women were in became stuck on a bridge. As the water rushed past, there was no way to get out of the vehicle. It soon became apparent that the strong flow of water was going to push the car into the lake. That’s when the women dialed 911 to receive help. “We’re about to get pushed into a lake. We need to get out ASAP.” Texas police officers showed up on scene and quickly worked to rescue the women. They threw out a line of rope to help guide the women to safety. One by one, officers guided the women towards protection. But when the last women stepped out of the car, she was clinging to her dog. She refused to let go of her beloved canine for fear that he would be swept away. But as the car became unsteady, the officer knew that they needed to move quickly. He guided the women to safety but the dog broke free of the grasp and tried to run away. Thankfully, the cops were able to beckon him back to higher ground. Just seconds after everyone was removed from the vehicle, the raging waters carried the car over the bridge. The police officers arrived just in the nick of time to save these three women. God definitely placed these cops in the right place at the right time. Prayers for everyone involved.
