Father, I receive the grace to tear down the strongholds of fear, mediocrity, and self-doubt that have hindered my advancement. Help me to tap into the creativity you have put inside me and renew my mind daily with your wisdom and insight.

Dear Jesus, thank You that some of us are sowers, some are reapers, and some of us get to both sometimes. I pray that You will help us to continue the good work that You have called us to do, and that You would help us to further Your kingdom as best we can here on earth.

Not repaying evil for evil doesn't mean we let people hurt us without ever doing anything to stop them. It just means that we choose to show them kindness and put up boundaries that protect both you and the other person—them from doing more harm and you from receiving that harm.

Many of us have doubts and fears that make us want to bury something God is calling us to use for His glory. How will we respond to our fear?

If you want your marriage or your relationship with your kids or with others around you to be one where people trust you, it is key to learn the secret to communicating in a way that is not harsh, vindictive, or passive-aggressive.

Lord, I ask for your peace to cover my mind, my spirit, and my soul. I refuse to allow grief, bitterness, or despair to take root in my life. Fill me with your strength, and help me to stand firm like Mount Zion. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

So the next time you find yourself rehearsing the argument, writing the text, or preparing for that difficult conversation, just ask God for wisdom. Because sometimes the wisest thing we bring into a conversation isn't the perfect answer; it's the character of Christ.

If you feel like the holidays are challenging because you don't feel like those around you get you, remember that you are part of this big family of Christ; they are your brothers and sisters, here with you and ready to encourage and lift you up.

Dear Jesus, thank You so much that You have given us strength to wrestle and spiritual eyes to see some of the spiritual realm. We know that we do not wrestle only against flesh and blood but against rulers and powers and authorities. But You have overcome the world!

Do you see how tenderly and faithfully God cared for Naomi through both Ruth and Boaz? Did you catch how God responded to her pain? Bitterness is a dangerous place to land, but God can reach us even there. He constantly moves toward us, gently drawing us to Himself, to healing and freedom.

So when something changes, before you assume that you've lost your footing, look again at what's actually holding you up. It wasn't the season or the method; it wasn't even the person. It was God, and he's still here.

Lord, trim my list. Bring me into focus. Help me to be satisfied with You alone and to realize that when I have You, I have everything I could possibly need.

God wants us to live in contentment even when we're thirsty, and we don't know where the next drink will come from; even when we're in a situation where we can not imagine how God can make good come from it. Forget not His benefits, and remember the goodness of the Lord.

Father, we thank you for your word. Open our eyes and let us see ourselves in this verse. We ask you to reveal the word of truth that we need to apply to our own hearts, that the soil would be good soil; humble and ready to receive your good word so that it will bear much fruit.

The three ways we can stay devoted in love to others, consider others better than ourselves, as it tells us in Romans: pray, serve, and be present.
